Cosplayer Marvel Movies Thor's Awesome Visual Recreation [video]

If you're a fan of superheroes, you should definitely meet Thor, the mythical God of Thunder. One of the most striking features of the character's power is his brilliant eyes, as shown in the film Thor: Ragnarok. Of course this ends up being a big problem when cosplayers live the character, since the options available to reproduce the effect are usually restricted to contact lenses and Photoshop effects.

However, Kyle Simpson, a New Zealand cosplayer, has figured out a way to solve this problem. For this, he used black light LEDs and contact lenses that react to this type of lighting, getting bright. To build Thor's helmet, Simpson developed this wirelessly connected system and created the helmet using a 3D printer. You can check the result in the video below:

As you can see, the result was very cool and realistic. However, the problem is that it would not be possible to use the kit for a long time, because black light is harmful to vision and can cause damage to the retina. Simpson also warns users not to walk around with black lights directly in their eyes.

The tip was given in the case of conventions and events in which fans usually spend long hours. If the cosplayer chooses to use something like that for a long period of time, vision problems are likely to arise. Source: Tecmundo
